As we head into Memorial Day, I’m taking a moment to pause and reflect on the incredible sacrifices made by the men and women who’ve served to protect our country. Today isn’t just about barbecues or a long weekend—it’s about remembering those who gave everything so we can live freely, safely, and with hope. The courage of our service members is humbling. They leave behind families, comfort, and certainty to stand on the front lines, facing challenges most of us can’t imagine. Some return home carrying the weight of their experiences; others make the ultimate sacrifice, laying down their lives for us all. Their selflessness—their willingness to put country and community first—is the backbone of the freedoms we cherish every day. I think of the stories we hear: soldiers who braved battlefields, pilots who flew into danger, medics who saved lives under fire, and families who carried on with pride and pain. Each one represents a choice to serve something bigger than themselves. Memorial Day is our chance to say thank you—not just with words, but by living in a way that honors their legacy. So, this week, let’s hold space for gratitude. Let’s remember the names, the stories, and the sacrifices that keep our nation strong. Whether it’s visiting a memorial, sharing a story of a loved one who served, or simply taking a quiet moment to reflect, we can all show our appreciation for those who’ve given so much. Here’s my challenge for you: find one way to honor our fallen heroes this Memorial Day. Maybe it’s thanking a veteran you know, learning about a local hero, or writing down what freedom means to you because of their sacrifice. If you feel like sharing, reply and let me know how you’re commemorating the day—I’d love to hear. To every service member and their families, and to those we’ve lost: thank you. Your sacrifice is not forgotten. Happy Memorial Day. With deep gratitude, Justin PS - I have a weekly update that I will include on my dreams below, this is something I have been doing personally for more than 2 years now, and it is my guiding light for how I make decisions and decide what I want to be doing and chasing. As we roll into this week, I’ve been thinking about how life is one wild, unpredictable ride. You never know what’s around the next corner—a new opportunity, a tough challenge, or a moment that changes everything. And you know what? That uncertainty is the joy in life. It’s the heartbeat of adventure, and it’s up to us to carry the torch through the highs and lows, letting every twist shape who we become. Life doesn’t hand you a script. One day you’re booking a red-eye to Nashville for a...
Happy 4th of July! As we celebrate this Independence Day, I’ve been reflecting on one of the cornerstones of our freedom: the right to free speech. It’s more than just a line in the Constitution—it’s the heartbeat of what makes our country vibrant, messy, and alive. And today, I want to talk about why the toughest part of free speech—people you don’t like saying things you don’t like—is actually its most vital piece, and why using that freedom to share your own truth is so powerful. The 4th...
This week, I’ve been thinking about something that’s at the heart of everything we do: relationships. Not the fleeting, transactional kind, but the long-term ones—the ones that grow, evolve, and carry us through life’s twists and turns. Building and nurturing those connections, and keeping people in the loop as we journey through life, isn’t just nice to have—it’s essential. Life moves fast. Between chasing dreams (like my full-time leap into entrepreneurship with this blog and my work with...
