Happy Father’s Day & My Big Leap into StoryBrand - 2025 - Week 24 Update

Happy Father’s Day!

Today, I’m filled with gratitude for all the fathers out there pouring their hearts into doing their best, no matter their circumstances. Whether you’re a dad juggling long hours, navigating tough seasons, or just trying to be there for your kids in the way only you can, you’re making a difference. Fatherhood isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up, loving fiercely, and giving what you’ve got. To every dad reading this, thank you. Your efforts shape lives, and we see you.

Now, let me share something wild that happened this week. I’m writing this from Nashville, Tennessee, where I just wrapped up an incredible certification training for the StoryBrand system. I’m officially a StoryBrand coach, which means I can now use their powerful framework and materials to help my clients (and you!) tell clearer, more compelling stories that drive results. This is a huge step forward for my blog and my work with the five strategic companies I’m partnering with for content and marketing.

One thing I’m beyond excited about? StoryBrand’s Marketing AI Agent. It’s like having a genius in your pocket. You feed it your answers, and it uses their proven framework to spit out a tailored marketing solution—fast. It’s not just tech; it’s a game-changer for creating messages that stick. I can’t wait to weave this into my coaching, consulting, and content work to help clients cut through the noise and connect with their audience like never before.

Here’s the kicker: this whole Nashville adventure happened because I leaned into the power of taking action. I learned about the StoryBrand certification on Monday. By Tuesday, I’d booked a red-eye flight. Wednesday morning? I was in the room, soaking it all in. No overthinking, no waiting for the “perfect” moment—just a gut feeling and a leap into the unknown. That fast decision turned a spark of an idea into a reality that’s already opening doors for my business and my clients.

Life rewards those who move. Whether it’s chasing a dream like entrepreneurship, signing up for a course, or even being a dad who steps up despite the challenges, action is what turns “what if” into “what is.” I’m proof that jumping into the unknown—scary as it is—can lead to something amazing.

Here’s my challenge for you this week: think of one thing you’ve been hesitating on. Maybe it’s a call, a project, or even a conversation with your kids. Take one bold step toward it—book the ticket, send the email, or just start. And in the spirit of Father’s Day, if you’re a dad or have one, take a moment to say thanks or give a nod to the effort. If you’re up for sharing, reply and tell me about your leap or a dad who’s inspired you—I’d love to hear!

To all the fathers out there, Happy Father’s Day. And to everyone, here’s to taking action and building a future we’re proud of.

With gratitude and excitement,

Justin

Journal Entry: This week, I’ve been focused on dialing in a solid sleep schedule around my night shift at WinCo, and let me tell you—it’s been a challenge, but I’m loving how my life is set up right now. Flipping to nights means tweaking everything: powering through the shift, crashing for a deep nap in the morning, then rising refreshed for the day ahead. It’s not always smooth—those first few days felt like jet lag on steroids—but I’m finding my groove. Short power naps, consistent...

Journal Entry: This week, I’ve been thinking about how I’m reshaping my days from the usual 24-hour grind into a more intense, focused 12-hour cycle—and surprisingly, it’s working wonders. With my night shift at WinCo kicking in, I’ve flipped my schedule: stock shelves from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, grab a solid nap or sleep to recharge, then dive into my handyman business for a few hours in the afternoon. Another quick rest, and it’s back to the cycle. It’s not your typical routine, but it’s giving...

Journal Entry: This week, I’ve been reflecting on something that’s both vulnerable and vital: sharing your feelings with the ones you love and diving into those difficult conversations. Life’s too short to bottle things up—whether it’s telling someone how much they mean to you or addressing a tough issue head-on. Those talks aren’t easy; they can feel raw and risky. But here’s what I’ve learned: they build deeper connections, clear the air, and often lead to breakthroughs you didn’t see...
